Piece #3 of 4 in the "USN MKV Diver" collection. This piece evokes special memories of my training at Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center from 1997-1998. Seems like yesterday halting a set of morning flutter kicks, popping to attention to observe Colors, and then piercing the thick morning air with a thunderous: "Hooyah America!!!!" at the completion of the national anthem.
Materials used: Copper sheet, copper wire, epoxy resin, aluminum sheet, leather, rubber hose and brass fittings, canvas, alcohol ink, acrylics, misc. fasteners.
